Save files gone, single player
The game has been generally very buggy for me, crashing in all sorts of ways (at "map", in random times in game, etc..)
So as a result I've been saving my game A LOT. Every few minutes whenever I think about it, I'll save. Just as a back up.
Well twice now when its crashed and I reopen the program, the last few save files are completely gone and I'll have to go back to one from HOURS earlier. Also when you first open the program and click "single player", then load game, you only have a few choices. You dont see all the choices of saves that you see if you were to load game while playing a map.

Etienne AdminHey,
Can you look if you can find your saves in the Windows Recycle Bin?
We updated the Steam Cloud settings to allow the clouding of conquest saves and that might have caused unwanted behaviors on the saves.

JoeUnfortunately nothing in the recycle bin (and there are still other unrelated files in there from a while ago, so it hasn't been dumped)

Etienne AdminHey,
Can you try to:
1. Start a new solo game
2. Save the game
3. Exit Dune
4. Launch Dune
5. Load your saves

MattHello, new person using the XBOX PC version here, this happened to me when trying to reload a save in a conquest map as house vernius, before that; the game was freezing the screen on 3% load while allowing it to play the reloaded save allowing me to exit the game; I could still interact with everything, but I couldn't see anything in-game nor the main menu.
And when it froze this time, it crashed the game and restarted the computer, how can this be fixed so that it doesn't happen again? -

MattI think I found out why it was happening for me on PC; I had my game on ultra graphics and it was being overloaded, by the ultra graphics; so I've been playing on high graphics instead for a while, and everything is working fine so far.
I also played the game on my SERIES X when it came out on game pass and you guys managed to fix that last I heard, but it looks like the difference in my PC and SERIES X's capabilities is large enough to crash my PC at full graphics on loading, but not the SERIES X.
