  I encountered the bug today.
  First Campaign with Artreides, and after several crashes loading first mission "Hargpass" was done and playable.
  After i win i try to launch a second mission "Cielago Senke" and crash at 18%.

  Game has issues after the latest update, it was working before. Is there a way to revert?
  
  Game hangs on loading screen with OpenGL more than half of the time. Loading from a save will almost always fail.
  Game is slow with DirectX when more regions and units are visible later on in the game.
  Conquest mode will not load.

  Ran into the same issue today, finished my first mission playing as the harkonnen, picked a bonus and then when i wanted to continue it crashed.
  Game wont load anymore now either, restart of the PC did not help.

  На любой миссии игра зависает при загрузке не более 26%, при этом картинка не меняется но звук идет и слышно что игра началась, а на экране только картинка с загрузки.

  Happened to me too today. Setting graphics to low helped. I don't mind this workaround as I've found out my work laptop can't handle anything above low anyway 😁.
  
  More details on how it behaves: the loading screen with Atreides shows up but never disappears. Yet I can hear that the game has most likely loaded because of the sounds. Clicking esc produces a sound (later I found out it's the sound of opening or closing the menu). So it looks like the game runs behind the loading screen, we just can't see it.

  Same issue here. Crashes after selecting second mission Somehow, the game managed to start the mission the next day, but after quiting and starting again crashes on mission autosave.

  Similar issue but reason identified. Not only the game but the whole PC restarts during loading screen. This happens whenever terrain quality is set to High in Graphics settings. With it set to Medium or Low (everything else doesn't seem to have any impact) everything loads fine. 4790K and RTX 3070.

  3. After chosing the faction and the mission as well as the the two supporters and pressing the start-button the game starts to load and ends at 3%. After that the game crashes showing the info: D4X.exe doesn´t react
  4. Always happens in Conquest Mode. Tried it with Atreides and House Corrino. Interesting though: First time I tried it it worked, then after saving and re-entering: Game crashes.

  Exactly the same thing as reported above. Doesn't matter what game mode you choose (tried all three), you pick your character and support roles and as soon as you click start, the loading page appears but nothing happens. Sometimes it gets to 3% but mostly just freezes.

  Hello, i have the same issue, it actually load to 3% then crash.
  I just start the 3rd mission in conquest with atreide house. I try different mission, but it always crash at 3%.

  Started playing as Atreides in conquest, got a minor lag in the conquest view. Start a map, loading screen up to 3%, then the game crashes.
  Tried starting conquest three times before, was fidgetting with conquest to see if anything changes and what works: as Atreides first time, then as Harkonnen second time, third time as Atreides again, the save file is for the 4th time. First time I got exactly the same crash as the 4th, tried a few times to restart - crash every time, 2nd game as Harkonnen worked completely fine, 3rd time I managed to start a game as Atreides but only after it crashed twice before that, 4th time - the sent saved file crashes every time, tried like 3 times.

  started playing atredies in conquest. beat a map, chose a bonus. played another map, won, the game crashed when loading the main screen to choose my bonus and next map to play. the game map won was for getting 15k Hegonomy. one of the bonuses I would get to choose would be the assassin per spy mission used in a region. I am playing against Ecaz and Harkonen on Hard difficulty.

  While loading my second conquest game, I get to 1-3% and the game crashes. I've started different conquest campaigns with different houses and it seems to always occur on the second game. Please look into this.

  Despite the update the game still crashes when starting a mission different than the first in conquest. Seems like the thing is related to obtaining the bonus "first step of all tecnologies unlocked".

  Update: the game crashes in conquest only in some missions. Fun fact, the very same mission one time worked but then, when I tryed to play it again from the load state, crashed. As we stand now I'm playing "Roulette Conquest": every mission can be playable, but every mission can also shut down the game.
  I love this game, but for holy sake, this is a major issue, DO SOMETHING!

  mine just started doing it after an update applied. now conquests load to a blank sandy screen, and save files are corrupted.

  This morning I was playing my conquest save game normally and finished one of the missions. I save the game before selecting the next mission and close the game.
  This afternoon an update came in when I started the game and with the saves I have, I can't continue with the missions.
  After loading the save game, I can't click on the interface and the mission doesn't start.

  Unplayable at this point :( I launch a new solo player campaign and the two options I can go to load 1% then crash out completely. It doesn't even give me a report option it simply disappears.
  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @2.60GHz
  Windows 10
  All drivers are up to date (I can play Total War: Warhammer III no issue, which I would consider a somewhat similar game).

  after selecting the initial settings, for example advisors.When I click start in conquest it automatically throws me to the desktop. I can do nothing. Please fix it.

  I ran the tutorial last night and have one mission to go. Tonight I double-clicked the game icon on my desktop. A small black window flashed on my desktop (the kind we used to run DOS commands on back in the day), Logitech changed my mouse's dpi setting to 2400 and nothing happened. I went to my steam properties and checked the integrity of the game files. They're all there. I hit PLAY using the Steam library GUI. The little black screen flashes, Logitech flashes the change in dpi settings to 2400 and about a minute later the GUI changes from " X STOP " in blue to " > PLAY " in green. I recorded a video using the Steam GUI, uploaded it to YouTube but for some reason your web address upload won't recognize the link. Email me and I'll send it to you.

  Final conquest mission "The Red Exhibit" won't load for me, the load percentage keeps getting to 100% then just resetting to 0, going round and round endlessly. Occasionally it crashes before I force quit!

  Game crash during gameplay. It happened during conquest.
  
  first crash window report titled (Ran out of pages)
  
  second crash report titled (galaxyclient.exe: breakpoint has been reached)
  
  the way it happens. is that the game is running fine. then full blue screen without text, just blue. then crash.
  
  though on the second crash, my Adrenalin software (AMD GPU/CPU control software) completely crashed, and screen resolution was set to something like... 480p? very small.

  Keeps happening to me. In a campaign, loading a self-made (non-autosave) save the game gets stuck at 3%. Music keeps playing. Happened in the Atreidis and now the Harkonnen campaign several times. Save is made while on the campaign map before exiting the game. The automatic save on leaving the game works though...
