Xbox Series X: Game unplayable after update (12/14/2023)
Game worked just fine until update. After update, with no other changes, graphics are ‘washed out’, rendering game virtually unplayable.
Restarted console, removed and reinstalled game, no change. Still unplayable due to washed out graphics.
Changing brightness and contrast had no effect. Nothing else to change in the game, and the console settings worked perfectly prior to the update, so there should be no need to change those.

MatoI have the same issue on Xbox one series X. Graphic is gone, only interface is visible. All worked fine prior the update

Mister X 2112Unplugged console for an hour and reinstalled. (Re-reinstalled?). No change.

MikeSame. I have now deleted all 6 game saves, rebooted console, quit game and restarted, uninstalled game and reinstalled it, tried a new game with different factions, different game type etc, everything I can think of but nothing works. Unplayable. Which is such a pity cos I was really enjoying this game.

MatoI experience exactly the same as your posted screen shows. Reinstalling didn't help. Before the update all worked fine.

Mister X 2112Another update…
For sh*ts & giggles, I tried playing this game using the ‘Cloud Gaming’ app on my iPad.
This seemed to solve the washout issue. Had to restart iPad to get the audio to work.
A little grainy, so I’d really rather play it on the console. -

I’m not sure if it’s because someone actually reads these, or if it’s a coincidence, but the problem appears to be fixed.
Kudos for that.
That being said, moving forward…. Maybe test the updates before you release them. Just sayin’ -
