"Network Issue - Failed to connect to game server."

My game works great in single player, but whenever I try to connect to a multiplayer server in the loading screen I get the message "Network Issue - Failed to connect to game server." I can join a lobby and select my faction with no issues. I have tried both European and North American servers, and I have tried hosting in North America as well. I'm in North America btw.
I am using a Steam Deck, so unfortunately I cannot post my DXDIAG, and as the game does not officially start, I do not have a save file to share either. The map size was either medium or large, and the speed was 1.5x.
This is a great game overall, thanks for your time and tips you can give me.
