Nuking faction capitals in Conquest mode breaks the game
1. Nukes and the air strike operation can do damage to the capital (Arrakeen, etc) even when the invulnerable shield is up
2. If you destroy the capital using nukes without disabling the shield, the enemy faction is defeated but the mission doesn't end and you can't finish the battle.

3) I can reproduce the bug in a couple of different methods.
A) You can use a nuclear bomb on the shielded based after the first time the player fails to destroy the capital. The game tells you to attempt again and you can drop a bomb regardless of the shield.
B) It seems you can still keep attacking even after the shield comes up. You can't have new units added to the attack, but the original group will continue to assault the capital. In doing so it will cause the capital to fall.
4) Conquest
Proposed solution would be to make the shield to stay off during an attack but once the player's units are off the capital the shield would reactivate. I found it difficult to get the capital down without nuke + combat drugs and max supply of units. -

1After killing enemy base, I resived "call for help" with empty text.
